Hidden Gem: Jake’s Jamaica

Located on Jamaica’s south coast in the fishing village of Treasure Beach, Jake’s Jamaica is the perfect place to escape the crowds of other all-inclusive resorts and to enjoy and laidback atmosphere. In 1993, the hotel opened with only two rooms. Today, each of the 24 pastel-coloured villas and cottages have been furnished with local materials, enhancing its Caribbean atmosphere.

Each villa (Calabash Bay, Hope House and Cave Canem) is decorated completely different and even offer their own outdoor Jacuzzi or infinity pool. The styles of the cottages at Jake’s are described on their website as ‘barefoot bohemia meets modern luxury’. Choose between a one, two, three and four bedroom cottage for a comfy, eclectic, and unique experience.

Jake’s Jamaica is a true hidden gem on the south shores of the island. Their rooms, cottages, villas and honeymoon suites are each individually decorated and all have different vibes. Their restaurants serve some of the best food on the island with ingredients sourced locally (be it just-picked fruits and veggies or the catch of the day). Their bars are always bustling with Jake’s visitors (for a unique experience, check out the Pelican Bar which is only accessed by boat). Their spa boasts holistic techniques from around the world for a one-of-a-kind healing menu. They even offer yoga retreats.

Jake’s truly has it all, like you have never seen before.
