Wondering where to take a spring break vacation? The decision can depend on many different factors. Is the resort family friendly, is it for spring break party goers, or is it located directly on the beach? It would be a shame to take a week off before considering those important factors. Above all, for people booking their trip at the last minute, weather plays an integral role when choosing a location.

Weather in the Bahamas

In regards to weather, March is a pleasant time to visit the Bahamas. The current forecast called for some rain over the next few days followed by mixed sun and clouds with highs around 27 degrees.

Long Term Forecast in Cuba

The average March weather in Cuba generally tends to mirror what occurs in the Bahamas. Daily highs and lows are in the 29-19 degree range accompanied by warm coastal waters.  The next week to ten days will not be the best time to visit Cuba’s capital of Havana due to an upcoming span of hot foggy days followed by cool nights. It is best to wait for a few sunny clear days to visit this historically rich capital city.

Important Weather Notes for Mexico

Expect slightly different weather on the Mayan Riviera of Mexico than what is experienced on the islands of the Caribbean. There is less volatility in the range of temperatures seeing average highs of 25 degrees and lows around 22 degrees. With an average rainfall in March of only 3 days, expect less humidity making it more comfortable for travelers. It is a good time to venture off the resort to visit historical sites such as Chichen Itza.

Before booking that vacation down south be sure to get informed of the weather. It could be the difference between the trip of a lifetime and a trip that will soon be forgotten.
