The Victoria International Airport is located in North Saanich, 26 km north northwest of downtown Victoria. YYJ is located on Vancouver Island in the province of British Columbia and is run by the Victoria Airport Authority. The airport charges each outgoing passenger a small ‘Airport Improvement Fee’. The Victoria International Airport is British Columbia’s 2nd busiest airport in terms of passengers, and third in terms of aircraft movements. YYJ has one passenger terminal that is three levels.

• Driving: Take Patricia Bay Hwy/BC-17 N. Turn left onto McTavish Rd. Turn right onto E Saanich Rd. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Willingdon Rd. Slight right toward Electra Blvd. Follow airport signs.

Coming From Nanaimo:

• Public Transit: See ‘Useful Links’ below.
• Driving: Follow Island Hwy for 77km. Slight right onto Mill Bay Rd. Turn left to stay on Mill Bay Rd. Take Brentwood Bay, BC-Mill Bay, BC ferry. Continue straight onto Ferry Ramp. Turn Right onto Verdier Ave. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto W Saanich Rd./BC-17A N. Turn right onto Willingdon Rd. Sharp left to stay on Willingdon Rd. Turn right toward Electra Blvd. Follow airport signs.

Coming From Vancouver:

• Driving: Take BC-99 S out of downtown Vancouver. Take exit 28 for BC-17. Keep right at fork, follow signs for BC-17 S/Tsawwassen Ferries and merge onto BC-17 S. Take the Swartz Bay, BC-Tsawwassen, BC ferry. Upon getting off ferry on Vancouver Island, continue onto Patricia Bay Hwy/BC-17 S. Turn right onto Weiler Ave. Turn left onto Canora Rd. Slight right onto E Saanich Rd. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Willingdon Rd. Follow airport signs.
