Commonly known as Detroit Metro Airport, this airport is located in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan approximately 36 km from downtown Detroit and 43 km from Windsor, Ontario. DTW is the 16th busiest airport in the United States and the 24th busiest airport in the world in terms of passenger traffic. The Detroit Metro Airport has two passenger terminals – the North Terminal (the Lower Level has arrivals and baggage claim, and the Upper Level has check-in and departures), and the McNamara Terminal (the Lower Level is for international arrivals, Level 1 is for domestic arrivals & baggage claim, Level 2 is leading to the Concourses and gates, and Level 3 is for check-in & departures) .

• Driving: Head east on Cadillac Square toward Bates St. Take the 2nd right onto Randolph Street. Turn right onto M-10N/E Jefferson Ave. Continue to follow M-10 N. Take exit 4B on the left to merge onto I-94 W toward Chicago. Take exit 198 toward Metro Airport. Follow airport signs.

Coming From Downtown Windsor, Ontario:

• Driving: Head northwest on Kildare Rd toward Somme Ave. Turn left onto Tecumseh Rd E. Turn right onto Huron Church Rd/ON-3 O. Continue to follow ON-3 O and enter the USA. Continue onto Ambassador Bridge and take the ramp to I-96 W. Keep right at the fork and continue toward I-96 W. Keep left at fork and merge onto I-96 W. Take exit 190A to merge onto I-94 W toward Chicago. Take exit 198 toward Metro Airport. Follow airport signs.
