Last Minute Vacations To Las Vegas

Quick Facts

Las Vegas has been a popular vacation destination for decades. With its roots in the casino and entertainment industries, Las Vegas wasn’t always a place you could take the family. Over the past decade the city has been transformed into the world’s playground and a place the entire family can enjoy. With attractions ranging from massive casino’s to musical performances to magic shows to roller coasters, there is something that appeals to every visitor. Be warned that some hotels charge a $25 USD convenience fee per room, per night to account for costs of wireless internet and other amenities.

Transportation

The central attraction is the Las Vegas Strip which spans a 6.8 km stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard. Many hotels offer free shuttles to various casinos or shopping malls and may require you to show your room key. The McCarran International Airport services flights into the city and is located just a few kilometers from the strip. A taxi from the airport to the strip shouldn’t cost more than $20.

Hotels

If you are planning a trip to Las Vegas, be sure to book your hotel on the strip. Some of the most popular choices are The MG Grand, Mandalay Bay, Palms, Venetian, Bellagio, Planet Hollywood, and Caesar’s Palace just to name a few.
