Anaheim is located in Orange County, California in the United States. There are several districts in the city including: the Anaheim Resort (the area surrounding Disneyland), The Canyon (an industrial area), and the Platinum Triangle (the area surrounding Angel Stadium). Disneyland is of course one of the main attractions that brings visitors to this west coast US city. The city is roughly 40 km from the Huntington Beach (a popular beach in Orange County). Another popular thing to do in Anaheim is watch one of their pro hockey or baseball teams in action.
Getting There & Other Transportation
Flights will take you to the largest airport in Orange County, California which is the Santa Ana airport, also known as the John Wayne Airport. It is located about 15 miles from Disneyland.
Many hotels at Disneyland have complimentary transportation to and from the airport. If not, you can use a taxi or shuttle service that they have available at the airport.

Attractions
Not only is Disneyland the thing to do when in Anaheim, but Disney’s California Adventure, Universal Studios Hollywood, SeaWorld Adventure park, and the San Diego Zoo are just around the corner in San Diego! Consider buying a Southern California CityPass (www.citypass.com) to have access to transportation to all of these locations.
Outside of the Disneyland realm, you can attend one of the professional sports teams in the area: The Anaheim Ducks (hockey) or the Los Angeles Angels (baseball). Both teams’ stadiums/arenas are located in Anaheim and make for a great experience while in the city.
