The Edmonton International Airport is Canada’s 5th busiest airport (by passenger traffic) and is the hub for the province of Alberta. YEG has nonstop flights domestically within Canada as well as in the United States, Latin America and Europe. Located 26km south southwest of downtown Edmonton, YEG is Canada’s largest airport by total land area. Due to Edmonton’s location in the prairies of Canada, summer temperature heights can reach 35.3 degrees Celsius, and winter lows can reach -48.3 degrees Celsius. This makes for one of the widest temperature ranges of any Canadian airport. The Edmonton International Airport has a ‘South Terminal’ and  ‘North Terminal’ (Completed in 2012).

• Driving: Head south on 100 St NW toward 102 Ave NW. Take 2nd right onto 101a Ave NW. Turn left onto 100a St NW. Turn right onto Jasper Ave NW. Turn left onto 109 St NW S. Turn left on to Saskatchewan Dr NW. Turn right onto 104 St NW S. Continue onto Calgary Trail NW. Continue onto AB-2 S. Take exit 522 and keep right at fork and merge onto Airport Rd. Follow signs to airport.

Coming From Jasper:

• Driving: Take Trans-Canada Hwy/Yellowhead Hwy E. Take exit 378 for Anthony Henday Drive and continue to follow Anthony Henday Drive signs for 24km. Take exit onto AB-2 S toward Calgary/Edmonton International Airport. Follow airport signs.

Coming From Red Deer:

• Driving: Take AB-2 N via ramp to Edmonton. Exit 522 toward Edmonton/Nisku/Business Park/10th Avenue. Turn left onto Airport Rd and follow airport signs.

Coming From Saskatoon:

• Public Transit: See ‘Useful Links’ below.
• Driving: Take Trans-Canada Hwy/Yellowhead hwy/SK-16 W. Keep following Trans-Canada Hwy and enter Alberta. Take exit 400B to merge onto AB-216 S toward Edmonton/101 Avenue. Take exit onto AB-2 S toward Calgary. Exit 522 toward Edmonton/Nisku/Business Park/10th Avenue. Keep right at fork and merge onto Airport Rd. Follow airport signs.
