Located 14 km south of the city of Hamilton, Ontario, YHM is roughly 85 km from downtown Toronto and from Niagara Falls, Ontario.  The John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport is named for John C. Munro, a Hamilton Member of Parliament and cabinet minister. This airport serves as an alternate and reliever for nearby Toronto Pearson International Airport, yet is much easier to navigate due to its single terminal.

Coming From Downtown Toronto:

• Driving: From Bay St, turn right onto Lake Shore Blvd W. Take the Gardiner Expwy W to the Queen Elizabeth Way. Merge onto ON-403 W. Exit onto ON-6 S toward Caledonia/Port Dover. Follow airport sings.

Coming From Niagara Falls:

• Driving: From Stanley Ave/Regional Road 102, turn left onto ON-420 W. Take Queen Elizabeth Way/Hamilton/Toronto. Exit 88-89 for Red Hill Valley Parkway. Merge onto Red Hill Valley Pkwy S. Continue onto Lincoln M. Alexander Pkwy W. Take Upper James Street exit. Turn left onto Upper James Street. Follow airport signs.
