You want to get the best bang for your buck when you go on vacation but aren’t sure if you are getting a good deal? Check out this list of destinations to see where your all inclusive vacation fits in:

(All prices include flight and tax)

Under $500
The only place that you might find a vacation for under $500 is Cuba. Generally the food in Cuba isn’t as good as you will find elsewhere and if you find a deal for less than $500 I wouldn’t expect gourmet cuisine. For this price range, you will likely find something near the beach in the 2 to 3 star range.

$500 to$1000
You will be surprised at how nice of a resort you can find for under $1000. Your most likely destination will be Dominican Republic (Punta Cana or Puerto Plata), Cuba, or even Mexico. Throughout the summer and off-season months you will be able to find 4 and 5 star all inclusive resorts in this price range.

$1000 to $1500
This is where you will find a lot of 4 and 5 star resorts listed. You will see the same places as above with some resorts from Jamaica as well.

$1500 to $2000
When you search in this price range you will find some great resorts in some highly sought after destinations. If you are lucky, you will be able to book Sandals resorts in Jamaica and the Bahamas for around $2000.

Over $2000
If you are really looking to splurge on a vacation, try club med in Turks and Caicos. It will set you back over $2000 but will be the trip of a lifetime. If you book a few months in advance you will be able to take advantage of savings of up to 50%.
